Red Deer Rut Photography Days 2012

This photography day focuses on capturing images of the Exmoor red deer rut. We’ll have an early start and will arrive on the moor at 06:30 ready for our first stalk. At this time of the day the moors will be alive with activity and you will here the incredable sound of the Red deer stags roaring all around us. The rut is the mateing period when the largest male red deer (stags) compete for the females (hinds). Photographing these magnificent animals is always fantastic and I enjoy the adrenaline rush of watching two stags in action. The art of deer stalking is to get close to the deer with out them knowing your there. Throughout the day I will offer tuition on how to best photograph these animals along with any other guidance required.

To minimise disturbance I only offer a 1:1 session and this will maximise our chances of getting great photographs.

Various dates in October 2012 are available so please contact me with your requirements.
